NISBRE Scheduled for June 24-26, 2018 in Washington, DC

The 7th Biennial National IDeA Symposium of Biomedical Research Excellence (NISBRE) is now open for registration. The NISBRE is a national scientific meeting to showcase the scientific and training accomplishments of the IDeA program of the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS). The IDeA program develops scientific centers of excellence and trains biomedical scientists in the IDeA eligible states.

The meeting program includes high-level scientific presentations, enthusiastic participants, and a friendly atmosphere that promotes opportunities for open discussions and exchange of ideas on science and training. The agenda includes plenary presentations, keynote presentations in varied areas of scientific investigation, poster presentations of IDeA scientists, discussion forums and workshops. The workshops are designed so that the attendees acquire either new scientific or career skills. These exciting sessions have been included based on the high positive evaluations from the last three meetings.

The registration deadline is May 20.

There is limited availability at the conference hotel and the organizers encourage everyone to book early.
